Who's brave enough to fade my Leafs win call over Buffalo on Oct 15?

Calling a Leafs win October 15 and I'll put my own money behind it, simple as that. Yes I saw the table - 28th, 78 points, got outscored 253-299 last season, none of that pays my rent. What I care about is that this one's at Scotiabank after they've slogged through Vegas and Colorado on the road, and Buffalo coming into town is the softest landing spot on that whole stretch. Checked the bookie for the moneyline and it's sitting reasonable enough that the value's still there before the line moves once goalies are confirmed. Loaded up on this one at a modest stake, C$50 to keep myself honest. Not touching the total here, and I'd think hard on the puck line too, this team blows leads, I've cashed them at -1.5 exactly twice in two years and both slips taught me something. Lean single bet moneyline, sit back, and let the schedule do the work. Fade me if you want, but bring your own C$. 🔥
Up one week, down the next. Classic.

I keep a spreadsheet on these guys, and that 253-299 goal line says fade, but home ice against Buffalo after a brutal road swing is where samples get small. C$50 says you're right. 📊
Do the math before you argue.

Road swing through Vegas and Colorado right before this one? I'm taking Buffalo on the moneyline, C$50 against your C$50 😭
Bankroll discipline wins.

Danny, remind me of your ROI again? Because I distinctly remember you "calling" something similar last season and then going quiet for three weeks when it flopped 😂 28th overall, minus 46 in goal differential, and you're out here acting like home ice vs Buffalo is a lock. Vegas and Colorado back-to-back before that date? That team's gonna be running on fumes by the 15th. TorontoLoyal putting C$50 on you is cute. Spreadsheet guy hedging with pocket change so he can screenshot it either way. 🤡 OttawaLocal at least has the sense to fade. Me, I'd rather watch than touch this one, but if you're so sure, drop the full stake publicly and no backing down after Utah flattens them the night before 💸😏

With ya Danny, that minus-46 stings but Buffalo's buffalo'd us enough 😤 Only worry is Colorado the night before — legs might be toast 🔥💪

Utah the night before Buffalo? That back-to-back is the whole ballgame, Danny. Flying in from Salt Lake after playing the Mammoth, then hosting a Sabres team that's had our number. That's where legs go to die. And in reality? The table doesn't pay rent but minus-46 pays my mortgage the other way 😂 I'm with OttawaLocal on the moneyline, Buffalo straight up, C$50 through the bookie. Want to make it juicy? Take the puck line instead and stop hiding behind a coin flip. One short question though, mate: if the Leafs lose October 15, do you actually pay up or do another three-week vanishing act like last season? 🤡💸😏
It's a lottery, not sport.

Kev's got the right of it, I track every back-to-back in my spreadsheet and the second night of a travel set is where home records quietly rot, especially after Salt Lake to Toronto. Context matters though: Buffalo were no prize pig last season either, so Danny's side of the bet isn't crazy, just mispriced on fatigue. If the price on the moneyline drifts past even money by October 15 I'd look at it; my own C$ stays in my pocket until I see how the Vegas-Colorado swing goes.
Context beats a bare stat.

I'm on Danny's side here but I want the goalie named before any cash moves, that's just how I operate. Two nights after Salt Lake is ugly, I've lost plenty of those, so I'll take Toronto moneyline only and skip the puck line entirely. C$50 says it lands, see you after the match 💸

The line moves — catch it.
