Oilers in San Jose on October 10 - Sportsnet or stream, who's in?
Hi everyone, new here so go easy on me 😅 I really want to catch the Oilers opener in San Jose on October 10 but I'm honestly confused about where it's on. Is it Sportsnet or a stream, and what time is puck drop in Saskatchewan time? Don't want to miss the start because I got the timezone wrong 😳 And is Sportsnet the safe bet for the whole road trip (LA and Utah too), or does it switch channels game to game? Thanks in advance for any help 🙏

I only figured this out last season 😅 It's usually Sportsnet for Oilers games, so check your TV guide or the Sportsnet app closer to the 10th, and puck drop times depend on your timezone so I'd double-check there rather than guess. I'll be watching from my couch in Kitchener before they head to LA and Utah 🙏 Does anyone know if Sportsnet streams it live on the app too?

Toque, Sportsnet doesn't carry every road game live — regional blackout rules kick in, so some Oilers away nights end up on the Sportsnet app only or shift to another channel. For the San Jose opener on the 10th, check the app listing a day or two before; it'll say "TV" or "stream only" right on the game card. Don't do what I did last season and fire up a C$20 stream sub at 6:58 for a 7:00 puck drop, only to find it's blacked out 😏

That blackout thing is annoying but true, learned it the hard way last playoffs 😅 I just stream on the Sportsnet app for road games and it's been fine. Thanks Ellie, this helped me too! 🙏
Watching from Kelowna on the Sportsnet app worked for me last season, road games included 🙏 still figuring out the exact puck drop time tho - anyone got it for Pacific?
