Maybe I'm wrong but I only started following hockey seriously this season, so don't laugh, guys 😅 Kraken-Flames on October 5, I saw Sportsnet West has it, but what time does it actually start? And will it be on the regular Sportsnet app in Montreal too, or do I need that West regional feed somehow? I really don't want to miss the season opener for these two 😄
Also curious where people watch, any pub near downtown you'd recommend that actually puts hockey on with sound? Thanks in advance, this forum already helped me a bunch 🙏

But it's October 5 and Sportsnet West carries it, the main Sportsnet app should have it nationally, no regional gymnastics needed. My plan's the pub with a few mates, even bottom-feeder hockey beats staring at a phone screen 🍻🔥

Quick maybe-dumb one 😅 what's "regional feed" actually mean? Like Sportsnet West is just for the west and other regions get different games that night? Still learning this 🙏

Regional feed just means the broadcaster splits coverage by area. Sportsnet has regional groups (West, East, Ontario, Pacific), and on some nights each region gets its own game. For this one, Sportsnet West has Kraken-Flames, and the app usually streams the same feed nationally, so Montreal should get it fine. Simplest check: open the app on game day and it'll show you which games are available in your region.
