Hi everyone, new here so don't laugh at the basic question 😅 Canucks host Vegas on October 5th and I really don't want to miss the opener. Is it on Sportsnet for sure, or do I need some other channel? And what time does it start, roughly? Thinking maybe a pub downtown would be more fun than watching alone in my dorm, but first I need to know the puck drop time. Anyone got details? 🙏

Yes mate, opener = first game of the season, home one for us here. So Oct 5 against Vegas is exactly that, a proper occasion even if we finished dead last with 58 points while they lounged in 13th. 😏 Should be on Sportsnet like basically every Canucks game; usually a 7pm Pacific puck drop but check the schedule closer to the day. Where's everyone watching, or is everyone too scared to put money on us already 🤡💸

Thanks Victoria99, that clears it up for me 🙂 So if I got it right: October 5, first home game of the season, Canucks vs Vegas, and honestly on paper it looks rough since they had 95 points and we sat dead last... but hey, opener nerves are real for everyone right? Still figuring out my spot too, probably Sportsnet at home unless a pub near me announces a watch party. Go Canucks 🙌
